Juanita
Sapp, born in Orlando, Florida, is the third child of seven born to
Glover and Juanita Sapp. She is also the grand daughter of the
late Bishop Glover C. Sapp, founder of the Churches of the Kingdom
of God is Eustis, Florida. Her family relocated to Bronx, New York,
where she received Christ at the Garden of Prayer Church of God in
Christ under the ministry to Bishop William J. Robinson.
God began to draw
Evangelist Sapp through dreams and visions of her preaching
ministry. These dreams have been realized as she has, for the last
35 years, traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe
and Asia, where she has heralded the unadulterated gospel of Jesus
Christ.
Evangelist Sapp's
commitment and faithfulness to her ministry is further evidenced by
her personal struggle with the debilitating disease, Rheumatoid
Arthritis, that has been trying for 35 years, to hinder her
mobility. In spite of the prognosis of her doctors, her testimony is
like that of the Apostle Paul, "therefore having obtained the help
of God, I continue until this day."
Evangelist Sapp is a
member of the Potter's House in Dallas, Texas under the Pastorate of
Bishop T. D. Jakes. She considers God's choice of her life an honor
and is determined to finish her course with joy.
